At Kost Collection, we believe in creating spaces that are as unique as you are. Our process is collaborative and tailored to your specific needs:

  1. Consultation & Inspiration
    We begin with an in-depth consultation to get to know you, your lifestyle, and your design goals. Whether you have a specific vision in mind or need guidance, this is where we’ll discuss ideas, share inspiration, and begin dreaming big.

  2. Curated Design Plan
    After the initial consultation, we’ll present a design plan featuring curated selections and mood boards. You’ll receive a mix of new and antique/vintage pieces that reflect your personal style while maintaining timeless appeal.

  3. Implementation & Styling
    We’ll oversee the implementation of your design, coordinating with trusted craftsmen and ensuring every detail is handled with care. Once everything is in place, we’ll add those final touches that make your house feel like home.

  4. Final Reveal
    This is where your vision comes to life! We’ll walk through the finished space together, ensuring every detail aligns with your expectations.

MEET LUCY

Founded by design enthusiast Lucy Kost, Kost Collection is a celebration of timeless, nostalgic design. Lucy loves color and texture. She is a shopaholic with an antiquing problem - creating Kost Collection is her solution. Her husband Gus (our wonderful CFO, affectionately known as Mr. Kost Collection) is thankful that she now sells the antiques she brings home. With a background in Hospitality Management from Ole Miss and years spent living in Italy, her career has spanned events, marketing, and the culinary arts. These diverse experiences have shaped her love for creating inviting, beautiful spaces designed for making memories. Lucy and her little family live in Richmond, VA.
